Other things about me…
What is your biggest challenge today?
In healthcare, especially in Marin-Sonoma, one of our greatest challenges is caring for the aging population. We continue to not only focus our efforts on providing high quality, affordable care but also on creating new efficiencies that streamlines their journey across the continuum of care.
How do you think your profession will change in the next five years?
It may not happen within the next five years, but
the wave of the future will be providing less care in hospitals and medical offices and more care in the home.
What words that best describe you?
Caring, compassionate, tenacious and a good sense of humor.
■ Most admired businessperson outside your organization Bill Gates. He left the corporate world and used his expertise to establish the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation whose primary aim is to improve people’s health and give them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty.
■ Current reading
I am always reading something for work and something for fun. Currently, it is “How to Survive Change…You Didn’t Ask For” by M.J. Ryan, and “The Fallen” by David Baldacci.
