Midstate Construction Finishes Heritage House and Valle Verde Apartments
General Contractor Midstate Construction Corporation, and developer Burbank Housing recently completed construction of Heritage House and Valle Verde Apartments in Napa, CA.
Designed by Gunkel Architecture, this project consists of two neighboring buildings: Heritage House, the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the vacant Sunrise assisted living facility into 66 units (58 studio and 8 one-bedroom apartments) for low income households, farmworkers and permanent supportive housing for people previously unhoused; and Valle Verde Apartments, a new construction, three story multi-family apartment building providing 24 units (12 one-bedroom, 6 two-bedroom, and 6 three-bedroom apartments) of affordable housing made available to farmworkers and working families. This cozy and inviting neighborhood sits on a 3-acre site in Napa, CA.
Amenities available for residents include on-site supportive services, laundry facilities, play structure, basketball court, two community rooms, and multiple smaller residents lounges and spaces for engaging with neighbors and friends. Both building’s all electric services are reinforced with power from photovoltaic systems.
