Each year, the North Bay Leadership Council presents five selected honorees with their Leaders of the North Bay Awards. The categories are: United We Stand – Community Building: Recognition of leadership in corporate philanthropy or volunteerism, civic engagement, and community impact, Paint the Community Green – Environmental Stewardship: Recognition of leadership in green business, green building and/or environmental stewardship, The “Light Bulb” Went On – Innovative/Entrepreneurial Spirit: Recognition of creativity, innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit, DEI Leadership Award (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion): Recognition of organizations taking the lead on DEI, From Red Tape to Red Carpet – Leadership in Government: Recognition of local governments that cut through red tape, eliminate barriers to economic growth, enhance efficiency of service, improve the business climate through innovation and best practices.

Member Forum: Meeting with the CEOs of the Community Foundation’s of the North Bay

Join NBLC for a member forum featuring the CEOs of the Community Foundations of the North Bay for an update on economic equity and social issues in the North Bay.

Rhea Suh, President & CEO of the Marin Community Foundation, MCF partners with over 520 individuals and families in their philanthropic endeavors, annually distributing more than $150 million to address critical needs locally, nationally and globally.  

Terence Mulligan, President & CEO of the Napa Valley Community Foundation, he serves as the primary liaison with the Board of Directors and all Committees, and directs all asset development, community leadership and donor engagement activities of the Community Foundation.

Óscar Chávez, President & CEO of the Community Foundation Sonoma County, Óscar leads impactful initiatives at Community Foundation Sonoma County that address some of Sonoma County’s most pressing challenges, such as early childhood education, affordable housing, disaster response and preparedness, and supporting the county's health & human services safety net.
