Part 1: Evidence to Inform Action, Generation Housing will release and present findings from both the 2023 State of Housing Report and original research done in the Housing Cost Burden Report. A moderated panel of community leaders will highlight how housing intersects with all sectors of our community. Regional Administrator Jason Pu, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, will deliver a keynote address.
Thursday, May 4
Part 2: Housing Solutions Today | Vibrant Sustainable Tomorrow, we will shift to solutions, releasing progress reports on all ten Sonoma County jurisdictions and diving deep into policy solutions that center sustainable growth. Keynote speaker, Mr. Christopher Coes, Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation will close out our event, highlighting sustainable planning and development in the face of our ever changing landscape.
At the end of this summit, you will walk away with an understanding of how you are a part of the solution, know that change IS possible, and are inspired to take action.
