Business Leadership for Climate Solutions: Opportunities in the Emerging Regenerative Economy
California and much of the western U.S. are feeling the effects of climate change by experiencing historically high temperatures and high levels of drought, fires and smoke, melting snowpack, water shortages, and power outages.
These impacts call for business and community leaders to urgently innovate and implement climate solutions and leverage the currently available funding opportunities. The next generations are depending on us.
This program will focus on:
– Review of the climate urgency, and why solutions are more important now than ever
– Review of some inspiring innovative solutions that are emerging (worldwide and locally) from businesses, investors, startups, government, and non-profit efforts, and funding sources
– Share ways participants can apply their business and leadership skills to work together with others to put climate solutions into practice
– We will conclude with time for Q&A
