Basin Street Properties’ Redwood Business Center Nears Full Occupancy with Two Tenant Expansions

Basin Street's Office Moves to Petaluma's Theatre District to Accommodate Tenants

Basin Street Properties (www.basin-street.com), a prominent Northern California and Northern Nevada real estate investor of commercial and mixed-use properties, announces two tenant expansions in its Redwood Business Center. Longtime tenants Cyan and Keller Williams Realty, Inc. collectively added 8,700 square feet to their leases, bringing the 58,300-square-foot building, located at 1383 North McDowell Blvd., to 98 percent occupancy.

To accommodate these expansions, Basin Street moved its management office from the Redwood Business Center to 4,900 square feet in Petaluma’s downtown Theatre District. Basin Street has relocated its own office in response to tenant growth several times.

“For Basin Street, getting kicked out of our office space is a good problem to have. We love seeing our tenants thrive and grow, and we stay true to our commitment to provide the best real estate options to suit their business needs,” said Scott Stranzl, vice president of leasing for Basin Street Properties. “These expansions, along with several recent Petaluma Class A office acquisitions and leases, are a clear signal that the fundamentals of the region’s commercial real estate are strengthening.”

Cyan, a leading supplier of communications network infrastructure with revolutionary software support systems, expanded its 14,800-square-foot space by 7,200 square feet. Keller Williams, a residential real estate company, increased its 3,700-square-foot space by 1,500 square feet.

“We are very pleased that we were able to accommodate our expanding team in the Redwood Business Center, a prime location for our business and employees,” said Rick Johnston, vice president of business operations and customer services at Cyan. “Our rapid market expansion has driven a steady need to build-out our team. Basin Street has shown unwavering dedication to providing us with the optimal real estate solution for our growing operations.

The Redwood Business Center features a three-story Class “A” office building, two retail buildings and two future office buildings, collectively totaling approximately 250,000 square feet. Redwood Business Center office buildings offer multiple amenities, such as floor-to-ceiling windows, bike lockers and showers, key card access and an energy management system. The Redwood Business Center is located on the prominent and visible Highway 101 corridor on the corner of North McDowell and Old Redwood Highway and is in walking distance to a number of restaurants and retail outlets.
