W. Bradley Electric, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have recently formed a “Green Committee”. The new committee’s main focus will be to continue and grow our company’s efforts towards conserving energy, water, resources and protecting the environment. In our efforts to take our commitment “on the road”, we recently added a Chevy Volt to our fleet. Chevy’s newest electric car can be fully charged for about $1.60 a day and drive an estimated 38 miles gas-free. In addition to the new purchase, WBE has a total of 9 Hybrid Vehicles in their fleet.
Adaptive Lighting - New Standards Adopted by California Title 24
In the interest of our customers, W. Bradley Electric is paying close attention to the recent changes in California Title 24. At the end of May the California Energy Commission adopted new, more stringent energy efficiency standards, which include a new requirement for interior commercial lighting – multi-level control for interior lighting systems.
Adaptive lighting—lighting that automatically dims or shuts off when it’s not needed—represents one of the largest near-term opportunities for energy savings, and its inclusion in the state’s building code marks vital progress.
To learn about all the newly adopted codes, please visit The California Energy Commission News Release.
