WBE Joins GrayBar's Toy Drive!

WBE’s Giving Committee recently collected toys for Graybar’s Santa Rosa Office Toy Drive. The collected items will be given to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, whose Family Support Center takes in homeless families and provides food, shelter, clothing and case
management.
According to Graybar’s Branch Manager, Lee Groden, “…the toys you donate will provide a reason to smile.”

WBE Giving Committee has also been busy with other non-profits in October, including donations to:
  • Dominique Gaitan who participated Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training Event
  • Petaluma Food Pantry
  • Marin Community Clinic - low cost mammograms program
  • Petaluma Health Center - low cost mammograms program

Symphony Support

WBE and Commscope have, once again, partnered to support The Peninsula Symphony in their efforts to enrich the lives of people in our community with inspiring, innovative, high-quality musical presentations at affordable prices.

“This is the second year that we have partnered with Commscope to support the Symphony.” According to WBE VP Kevin Bradley. “And we are pleased to be a part of supporting their efforts as they celebrate their 64th Year.”

Going, Going...Green!

W. Bradley Electric, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have recently formed a “Green Committee”. The new committee’s main focus will be to continue and grow our company’s efforts towards conserving energy, water, resources and protecting the environment. In our efforts to take our commitment “on the road”, we recently added a Chevy Volt to our fleet. Chevy’s newest electric car can be fully charged for about $1.60 a day and drive an estimated 38 miles gas-free. In addition to the new purchase, WBE has a total of 9 Hybrid Vehicles in their fleet.

Adaptive Lighting - New Standards Adopted by California Title 24
In the interest of our customers, W. Bradley Electric is paying close attention to the recent changes in California Title 24. At the end of May the California Energy Commission adopted new, more stringent energy efficiency standards, which include a new requirement for interior commercial lighting – multi-level control for interior lighting systems.

Adaptive lighting—lighting that automatically dims or shuts off when it’s not needed—represents one of the largest near-term opportunities for energy savings, and its inclusion in the state’s building code marks vital progress.
