Sonoma State University's Schroeder Hall Opening Has Something For Everyone

More than one hundred musicians from as far away as Washington, DC will converge at the Green Music Center on August 23 and 24 to play ten concerts, each under an hour in length, during Schroeder Hall's Grand Opening weekend. Check here for concert times and a brief description of each program.

Admission is free, but advance tickets are required. Tickets are available to the public beginning next Tuesday, August 12, at 10 a.m. They can be reserved in person at the SSU Box Office in the Student Center; or online at gmc.sonoma.edu; or over the phone at 866-955-6040. A limited quantity of tickets will be held for walk-ups prior to each concert.

The one-of-a-kind Brombaugh organ has been restored to its original glory by Taylor and Boodyof Virginia. Read here for a short history of the instrument.

For more information, call the Department of Music at (707) 664-2324 or the Green Music Center communications office at (707) 664-4122.
