Redwood Credit Union’s Visa® Credit Card Ranks in Top 10 in U.S., a leading independent online provider of national and local financial institution rates and personal finance products, announced this week that Redwood Credit Union’s Visa card is among the nation’s “Top 10 Best” credit union credit cards offered in the nation.

The new report notes Redwood Credit Union’s (RCU’s) Visa Card offers among the lowest rates in the nation, including a low fixed rate card at 8.99% APR and a variable rate card as low as 9.49% APR. The report also cites both options come with no annual fee, no balance transfer fee, no foreign transaction fee and a free rewards program. The combination of low rates, no fees and a robust and free rewards program caused RCU’s Visa card to earn the “Top 10 in the U.S.” status.

“I believe Redwood Credit Union offers the best credit card in the country, and when you compare our card to any competitor, I’m confident RCU’s wins out every time,” stated RCU’s President & CEO Brett Martinez. "Some card issuers lure consumers with introductory rates or special offers that offer temporary benefits, whereas RCU's card provides exceptional value and benefits every day."

Another unique feature of RCU’s Visa program is it allows cardholders to combine credit and debit card rewards points, which allows points to accumulate faster, allowing cardholders to redeem rewards for cash back, travel, merchandise, gift cards or make a charitable contribution.
