North Bay Leadership Council is a Part of North Bay iHub's Expansion

The North Bay innovation Hub (North Bay iHub) is pleased to announce the addition of new partners who have aggregated their metrics as part of a request of the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-­‐‑Biz) to further enhance California’s entrepreneurial ecosystem thru the promotion of innovation as a community building and job creation tool.
 
The Venture Greenhouse in San Rafael, Share Exchange/Local Economy Institute in Santa Rosa, Sebastopol Entrepreneur Project, WORK Petaluma, Dominican University, Napa Valley College, WIMPs (Web Interactive Media Professionals), Slow Money and SCORE joined the existing North Bay iHub partners, the Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster, Sonoma State University, The North Bay Angels, the City of Rohnert Park, Sonoma County BEST, North Bay Leadership Council, Sonoma County Water Agency, PG&E, Wells Fargo and Codding. “A major revision of the website www.northbayihub.org showcasing the expanded resources and events for entrepreneurs will launch within a month – stay tuned!” stated Joshua Simmons of Bluebird Interactive.
 
The North Bay iHub partners are assisting over 1000 start-­‐‑ups and small businesses. The top 10 start up companies raised $6M, have over 80 employees and report sales of nearly $10M dollars; they are West Coast Solar, Next Phase Solar, PI Mobility, Food and Beverage World, NonProfitEasy, Bluebird Interactive, EcoLunchbox, General-­‐‑Vision, Aspen Air and Dominican Renewables.

The North Bay iHub is a collaborative of partners dedicated to building a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties thru the promotion of innovation as a community building and job creation tool by providing entrepreneurs with resources to enable them build successful businesses. We achieve this by stimulating partnerships between incubators, co-working spaces, non-­‐‑profit economic development organizations, government entities, universities, businesses and investment networks to accelerate investment and economic development.

  • Incubators, Accelerators and Co-­‐‑working Spaces include the Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster, Venture Greenhouse, Share Exchange, Sebastopol Entrepreneurs Project, Work Petaluma, etc.

  • Investors include the North Bay Angels, Keirestu Forum and Slow Money
  • Mentoring groups include SCORE and SPROUT
  • Trade organizations include Sonoma County BEST, Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce, North Bay Leadership Council, Web Interactive Media Professionals and Mannex
  • Government organizations include City of Rohnert Park, Sonoma County Water Agency and County of Marin
