The 10th annual Gene and Evelyn Benedetti Leadership Celebration will be held the evening of Friday, May 3, 2013, on the campus of Petaluma Valley Hospital to recognize the legacy and benefit to the community that Gene and Evelyn Benedetti modeled so clearly during their lifetime. Petaluma businessman Don Ramatici has been chosen as recipient of the 2013 Gene and Evelyn Benedetti Leadership Award.
Don exemplifies the Benedetti legacy of leadership, generosity and commitment to community. Throughout his lifetime, he has supported youth sports and activities in Petaluma, the Boys and Girls Club, Petaluma Educational Foundation, Petaluma Valley Hospital Foundation, Hospice of Petaluma and many other community organizations. He is a past president and active member of the Petaluma Rotary club. Don founded Don Ramatici Insurance, Inc. in 1958, and today it is among Northern California’s largest privately owned insurance firms. His influence as a businessman, mentor and friend is highly respected.
Ticket prices for the Benedetti gala are $150 per person and sponsorships are available. Proceeds of the Benedetti Leadership celebration will benefit Petaluma Valley Hospital and its patients by providing much needed diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
The Benedetti Leadership celebration was created to recognize Petaluma’s community leaders and increase awareness about the services of Petaluma Valley Hospital, which provides medical care to residents of Petaluma, south Sonoma County and surrounding communities.
